Some kind of Spanish colonial (you must already know that if you came up with the word reale), maybe Bolivia, maybe late 16th or early 17th Century. Hard to judge authenticity without coin in hand and without some idea of the weight/ approximate diameter. It can probably be identified more specifically by a specialist.

8R Potosi Bolivia. The style looks to be late 1640s to 1651. It kind of looks like an E to the left and just below the shield center line. This would date it around 1650 to 1651.

Thank you. Any value to this?
