Update on the availability of Dansco 7070 page 6 for Gold type

This is a portion of the email received from Ken Goble of Transline Supply this morning (5/25) concerning prior conflicting information from Dansco:

" By now, you may have heard that Dansco shipped out a limited number of Type Set albums (7070) earlier this month.

We’ve received quite a few inquiries and hope the following helps answer any questions you might have.

Is Dansco planning on shipping more 7070 Type albums ?
Yes. Soon. Possibly in the next week or two. We anticipate it will be a small amount. But it is our understanding Dansco intends to continue making the 7070 album.

Was the Type album updated to include newer type coins, such as National Park Quarters?
No. The albums shipped by Dansco were not updated, and are identical to the 7070 albums last made 4 or 5 years ago. The album is 5 pages, and does not include the Gold Type page 6. We do not anticipate delivery on the Gold Type page until October or November."

Anyone who contacted me to reserve a Gold Type page 6 will still be served as soon as these become available.
