The BGS Black Label is a SUPER 10. Next up is the solid gold label making the card a 10.5 out of 10.

the label matters. I will more for a mickey mantle psa 10 than a mickey mantle psa 9, everyday. I would pay more for a 2003 Lebron BGS black label than a bgs 10 lebron, everyday
I think we're overlooking Graded Rookies Authenticated 10s. Those are the industry standard.
BGS should just go to 11.
Black label is a 100% flawless card....not even the slightest imperfection
'Black Label BGS graded ' though has had proven situations where there was one single unnoticed defect, but still given that grade:

10.5 lol
IT CAN'T BE A TRUE PLAYOFF UNLESS THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONS ARE INCLUDED
You can submit any cards from this set and they all will be graded as 11:

I guess maybe i didnt explain what i meant....if theres a card that is a 10 bgs old label and a 10 black label of the same card, I think people are charging alot more for the new black label......

odd for the same card just a different label or am i missing something?
BGS 10 can have a 9.5 subgrade
They started doing the Black Label to distinguish having all 10 subgrades
Clearly more pristinerer ha
Agree with this. I believe a BGS 10 gold label may have 2 9.5 sub-grades (please correct me if I'm wrong). This card would be pristine. A black label BGS 10 has all 10 sub-grades, which some would maybe equate to a perfect card.
In theory, there would be a minuscule percentage of perfect cards, even while pristine cards are quite rare, hence the premium.
I believe if it has one 9.5 and three 10s then it's a gold label 10. Quad 10s equals black label.
It's the same for modern Hockey which I just can't wrap my head around. A Connor McDavid Young Guns in PSA 10 sells for about $350. A BGS 10 for around $1300. The last 3 black label 10s went for $18k , $17k, and $12k.
