Some idiot was registered 30 to 50 set in one day, with 1 coin each to win the award.
PCGS need identify the "artist", let us know who is and cancel the award.
We no need this kind of people here.

If that is true, sure violated the spirit if not the rules of the contest. The question is, should you be surprised that someone did that?

Someone needed the 3 free gradings from PCGS and just like everything else in the world there is also someone out there trying to figure out how to beat the system. Evidently this person posted the 3000th set and while its not COOL it certainly was not banned by PCGS as they posted no rules just who registered the 3000th set would get 3 free gradings from PCGS. The next time PCGS should post some guidelines such as at least 10% to 15% completion of set and limit it to adding 1 set per day.

I agree, but rather than make up rules...I suggest hit the milestone # and then award the prize and announce a winner!
