Which VDB do you prefer?
Well, heck, after building a bunch of toner Washington and Franklin Danscos, it seems appropriate to build some other albums, including a toner Lincoln Dansco. I must say, I do enjoy the toning that Lincolns can pick up over time. One of the nice things about coin collecting is that you get to make the decisions about how you're going to put together your collection. I'm not particularly motivated to get every Lincoln date and mm, but do plan on getting at least one coin from every year for the Wheaties. At this point I'm just getting Memorial cents up through 1982. At one point in the past I owned a (rattler) MS64RB 1909-S VDB, so I'm not particularly feeling the need to get a raw one now. I've got two P mint VDB's, so I'll just stick the extra one in the '09-S VDB slot. Just wondering, which of these two VDB's do you prefer, or do you like/dislike them both? I like them both, but lean towards one, and will put it in the P VDB slot. The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.

Neither...I don't care for the "streaks" on the obverses...the reverses are nice(r).

I love them both yet the first one looks like it has much less carbon specks as the second. Neat coins! And, your photography is top notch too.

yeah, what tommy44 said.
The first one. I can't abide carbon spots.
I agree. I'm not crazy about the reverse of the 2nd one.
But the first coin is attractive and has character.
Lance.
I'd go with the first one as well. Please continue to share your toned Lincolns as you build the set. Good luck!

Number 1 (2 has a few too many spots)
I LOVE #1. But I would be proud to own either.
OINK
I like the very first one. Not the second first one but the very first one is the one I'll select as the one I like those most of the two shown.
Number 1. No doubt.
I'm just exactly of the opposite mind.
I prefer rev of #1
Obv of #2.
Although neither coin makes me do cartwheels.
Both are nice; but, I like #1. The first appears to have a nice balance on the obverse /reverse with toning which appeals to me.
I actually prefer the bottom one because the toning on the top one keeps reminding me of a peeling planchet.
