All perfect, but one typo - should be AD 1874, I believe.
It should be 1873 which is (1277+14-1)*0.97 + 622.
The Regnal year is year one of the reign so subtract one.

Technically, both 1873 and 1874 are correct possible translations of the date. Islamic year 1290 (1277+14-1=1290) began on 1st March 1873 and ended on the 17th of February 1874. "1873" is perhaps statistically the best translation of the date, since most of AH1290 fell inside AD 1873; unless there is a reason (mintage records, historical events, etc) to suspect a coin was struck towards the end of AH 1290, then AD 1873 is the most probable actual AD year the coin was struck.
