Greg Morris raw to PSA

Anyone buy many Greg Morris raw cards graded NR-MINT, than have PSA grade them? Curious as to what percentage of Morris's NR-MINT you bought graded PSA 7 or higher. IMO if a raw common card does not get at least a 7 its not worth selling.

Thanks

You can generally trust the accuracy of Greg's grading for raw cards. I've been very pleased with my acquisitions over the years and still follow his auctions regularly, but more for graded stuff.

I buy gregs cards regularly. I would say he grades cards hard. I've received some cards from him that I felt were better than what he graded them to be. I don't know of a time I got a card and it was lower quality than what he has listed. He is really honest and straight forward with his listings which makes purchasing easier.

He is a good guy and runs a quality business.

Agreed. I was picky as hell on my '68 set and all the cards I bought from him in NM to NMMT would easily grade PSA 8 or higher.

I buy from him and he generally grades well. I mostly buy the "NM-MT" cards. I get my share of 7s and even some 5s and 6s on them but I also get the occasional 9. With the prices they usually sell for, you can assume you'll get the value back after grading but not much more. I buy them because I enjoy adding cards to my sets from my own submission vs buying them already graded when I can. However, it's not a profitable venture when factoring in grading costs and acquisition cost.
