New purchase - 1952 Topps Andy Pafko card

I am working on building a 1952 Topps set (just through #310 for now - no high numbers). While I am generally working on the PSA equivalent of 3-4, the Pafko card is too costly in that grade. I like this PSA 2.5 even though it has creases because it otherwise presents very well, with really nice centering.
Also pictured are a few more recent additions to the set. The Wynn and Branca cards are really nice for the grades. So far, this is turning out to be a fun and colorful set to collect.

Great cards. Are you doing the whole set graded?

    Hiya Daniel

    That's a sweet looking Pafko.

    Great set in any grade.

Aren't some of the low numbers - 1 to 80 - also pricey?

Good luck - where are you on it?

Thanks for all the positive comments, guys. This set is proving to be fun to collect. It's good to share the excitement with fellow collectors. I especially like the ones that have the colorful backgrounds.
I am collecting the set the same way I did the 1955, 1971 and 1975 mini sets - the HOFers and more expensive cards in PSA graded and the others ungraded.
I have 106 cards in the set so far, and yeah, some of the cards #1-80 are pricey/hard to get. I think the last series before the high numbers are tougher. The Willie Mays card will definitely be difficult because it's so expensive.
