Yes or no?

  1. PSA case in a bubble mailer, no extra protection
  2. PSA case wrapped in bubblewrap and sent in a large envelope
  3. multiple raw cards sent in single toploader/cardsaver
  4. 3 signed 8x10 photos sent in single sleeve
  5. charging >$3 for shipping and sending PWE

I don't like my cards to come or go in any of the options. In other words, "NO" to all 5.

I'd say no to all 5.

Fine with me, as long as there's enough bubblewrap.

    1. multiple raw cards sent in single toploader/cardsaver

Depends on the number of cards, and their value.

    1. charging >$3 for shipping and sending PWE

It's OK with me if it's stated that way in the listing.

No. 2 is fine if envelope is also padded or insulated. For a high priced card (over $250), I'd ship priority box, though.

  • Bubble mailer with PSA case and no other protection resulted in this a couple weeks ago.

  • I agree with bubble wrap in a padded mailer. I think that's typical

I don't think a little extra bubble wrap in the mailer would have kept that from happening to the Banks.

I'm surprised 4SC is still in business. They have been sending graded cards in a bubble mailer with no extra protection for yrs.

300 ct boxes work best for graded catds

The smaller sized 3x5 or 4x6 bubble mailers actually work great for a single PSA graded card. They fit inside very snugly and would need hard impact to be damaged. The larger sized bubble mailers are lame for a single PSA card because they flop around loosely inside and quite logically could be thrashed by an ignorant postal handler. I always wrap a piece of stiff cardboard around the holders before putting into a larger bubble mailer. As for raw, individually sleeved and sandwiched between cardboard as well.
Hardly anyone uses these, or similar techniques to send cards anymore. Most of the more careless sellers on eBay don't have a clue when it comes to protecting them, even after they've become valuable commodities at hammer time. I'm amazed that after all the stuff I've purchased over the years, only a few have been damaged en route. Percentages are good.

No, no, no. A 3x5 mailer means that that you can use little or no bubblewrap. It's good that it can't move around, but it offers little protection from damage. A larger mailer allows you to use multiple layers of bubblewrap. Much better.

Whether you use a mailer or a box, the contents should never be able to move around.

Shipped thousands of cards this way. Never ever NEVER a damage complaint. Just lucky I guess. ;)

I've received less than 10 PSA cards in a 3x5 bubble mailer. Two arrived with a big crack in the holder.
