re-sub for 1971 Pete Marivich looking for opinions

hi, I am brand new to the board and starting putting a 71 basketball set together. I picked up this Maravich in I believe a old style holder. Could someone tell me if this looks to be a re-sub candidate. I see nothing different than my 8.5 or 9 cards. thanks in advance

It's impossible to tell with those pics. Scan them if possible, otherwise there's no way for us to tell.

Difficult from the scan but if the corners look strong I would think you have a shot at a half-grade bump. The centering is pretty good as far as 71's go. Good luck and post a better scan if you can.

I just picked this 71 Alcindor up and will be sending it in for a potential bump. I recently had a 71 Alcindor bump from PSA 8 to PSA 9. I am hoping this one gets a half-grade bump.

Even in your terrible picture, top to bottom centering looks like it will keep the card where it is. Without seeing the flip in your picture I was thinking it was an 8OC.

The centering looks even better than I thought. I am still concerned about the corners as it is hard to tell. The bottom left corner as you look at the card (close to the letter P) gives me some cause as I cannot tell how much damage. I would certainly give it a shot as centering is the # 1 thing they look at for .5 bumps. Good luck and if you go for it let us know how it turns out.

guy's just popped this morning, bumped up to a mint 9. Well worth the re-grade. I will post a pic when I get her back
