It's 2018, why are there still no Upper Deck or Score Basic player sets??

Upper deck is the only major card manufacturer of CONTIGUOUS hockey cards (since 1990). Yet PSA still doesn't allow UD Basic player sets. In addition, Score is the only card brand of CONTIGUOUS football cards (since 1989) and still no Basic player sets. What gives ???? There are many modern players that don't have basic brand sets and that just lazy.

I think this is a good question and an issue that needs to be resolved. There are more companies out there than Topps.

I've been saying this about OPC baseball player sets and team sets for years. They have them for Topps, and OPC is typically half of the card count of what Topps was back then, 396 versus 792. I've even suggested helping. Let's see a 1984 OPC NY Yankees team set etc...long overdue.

Always looking for OPC "tape intact" baseball wax boxes, and 1984 OPC baseball PSA 10's for my set. Please PM or email me if you have any available.
