Guess the Grade!
Here's one of the key dates of the Palestine Mandate 100 Mils series. Mintage of 200,000, actually lower than the 1931.
Equally difficult to obtain in true mint state.

tough to grade as is. First guess is 58 b/c of some wear on tendrils..then I'm thinking its really a 62 but the obverse which comes nicked and chatter-full seems actually blemish free so I jump one to 63 especially if in-hand you got toning and luster...then the brain shuts down
Nice! MS63?

With just two guesses I will give another day for other members to chime in before posting the result.
Looks like it could easily be graded MS64 by the Santa Ana boys.
Nice, original coin!!!
Looks clean...could be 65 depending on what the think of the toning
My guess is 63.

Looks like some hairlines when magnified, but i can see it in a 64 holder.

Looks like an MS63 to me... Nice piece!

Thanks to all that posted your guess; seems to run the gamut from 58, 62, 63, 64 and 65.
Result: The grade assigned is MS64. The coin is truly a 64, has original toning over deep luster; no distracting marks.
Has now joined just one other MS64 also graded by our host for the highest grade. (NGC's highest grade is MS63.)
Must look way better in hand as I don't see 64 from what you posted.
That said, totally agree that an MS64 by our hosts is truly rare...a big congrats is in order.
As one who appreciates old toning, it definitely meets the grade. It doesn't flash "BU".
Thanks for the congrats; this date hasn't seen more than a couple of auction results for any mint state.
Makes me wonder what it could fetch!
