I like how he states that his "old con ways" are a thing of the past and have nothing to do with his new business. Basically he conned people out of their hard earned money and took that money and put it towards opening a new brewing company. He conned people by opening accounts under all of his families names without their consent (another lie) and he says the company is owned by his mother. Of course it is, sure. right. The only reason this guy is remorseful is because he was caught.

"I am a good person," Shores wrote. "Please allow me to rebuild my life and show you that I am an honest and trustworthy member of society. Let me show you what I can do. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed."

So you ripped people off for over $1,000,000.00 and you are a good person? No you are not!

    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

So did the undercover agent target the Cliff Lee jersey as an operative in charge of a sting, or did he buy a jersey as a beginning collector, gets suspicious and sent it to MLB and then went after this guy?

No matter how hard this guy or his lawyer pleads, I hope they make an example out of him. I doubt everyone he swindled would say forgive and forget. It's been over twenty years since my collection of vintage cards were stolen in a break-in. I'd endorse skinning the perp alive even today if he was on trial.

u think someone knew about your collection ? or it was a random break in ?

It was random. They actually caught the guy as I alerted the local shops as soon as it happened, but the courts let him go on a plea bargain. Never saw my stuff again. Some of the items, including a NM '58 Bobby Hull rookie that was recovered during the arrest, mysteriously disappeared while in police custody as well. Was pretty much out of luck at that point. Main reason why I quit collecting altogether back in the early '90s.

I was born in York, live in Harrisburg. A few years back all the local collectors knew another scammer/.
He made national news scamming autographs, got caught. went to jail. Nobody here would do any business with him but lots of people did. They all got taken. Glad they got this guy.
