Are So-Called Fellowship medals engraved with attendee names?

Jeff Shevin, @SoCalledGuy, has run the So-Called Fellowship each of the past 3 years and has medals made by Dan Carr, @dcarr. Each year's medals has a place to engrave one's name but I've never seen one with an engraving.

Does anyone know if attendees have their names engraved on these pieces, or how the engraving area is used?

I see a number of these for all years on the secondary market, but none of these have engravings, like the one below from last year:

I just asked Jeff and this was his response...

**The blank area on the 2016 medal is for people to engrave their name.  It is a tradition for many to put their names on the Fellowship Gathering medals.  **

Can't say as I have ever seen an engraved one however.
