1956 D Nickel Penny Planchet Error

I found this (very peculiar) 1956 coin in my Father's collection and would like to know if this is a Lincoln printed onto a nickel Planchet mint error? Also, notice the clip at the top of the coin? I've received other opinions in the past that suggests it was intended for jewelry, however the metal 'clip' base is inserted in between the middle folds of the coin? (see rim) Thanks for your help!

Simply a nickel plated regular wheat cent with a bezel pressed around it. Not an error.
