Home Buy, Sell & Trade - World & Ancient Coins

  • An acquaintance knew I am learning about coins. However, I have no idea what this is. This person lives in a back woods area on a tidal piece of land of west florida. She was walking in her back yard and kicked something which turned out to be this. It looks thick like a typical ancient. Appears to be copper based. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the selling forum so you might get more eyes on this if you post one the regular World coin forum
    https://forums.collectors.com/categories/world-ancient-coins-forum

Maybe get the mods to move the thread, but probably easier just to start a new one over there. You could also try Cointalk too.

Good luck, and welcome to the forums!

I think it's from India. Not ancient, but old (like 1800s or so).

But I don't have any firm attribution info for you, I'm afraid.
