Why are the base cards of Stephen Curry and Harden so high? Was there a limited run on this product? I don't see much wax for sale on this issue. I know they are hot players but I would think it would be so over produced that they would not hold value.

Yes, way overproduced. but tons of demand for the Curry. Any unopened from this year is big bucks. Someone had a case for sale last year in the $11K range.
Can't dissagree; Curry's stock keeps climbing. He doesn't flop, he's the best shotter in the history of the sport, has a great personality, already committed to Warriors before expired contract (who does that). He gets no respect from officials:
Harden and Westbrock look at the rim and it's a foul; you have to tackle Curry before a ref makes a call. Yet he never complains.
Collecting Unopened from '72-'83; mostly BBCE certified boxes/cases/racks.
Prefer to buy in bulk.
I think it was also the last year of Topps BK. And they did not produce an individual Chrome product. The Chromes are inserts in the base product, as are the refractors and super-refractors. So unopened is spendy. Yet still not much seems to have been chased out.
It doesn't hurt that so much was opened when Griffin was hot.
Griffin still has time to play better and if he does his numbers will start to stack up nicely to past good/great Power forwards.
With that being said he really needs to add a title to his resume over the back half of his career.
Successful card BST transactions with cbcnow, brogurt, gstarling, Bravesfan 007, and rajah 424.
Potentially powerful checklist with Curry,Griffin,Harden and DeRozan.
