Bad idea to put 1970s Kelloggs in Card Savers?

Many of my cards have the typical heavy curl. Will storing them in Card Savers (which will somewhat flatten them) lead to cracking?

Yup.
The worst made cards ever.
How often do they crack in slabs? I'm working on the 1980 set and so far so good...was just curious if they cracked after a period of time or if it was somewhat immediate...
I did that awhile back. Had a bunch of 1971(3 Clemente's that were mint with the exception of the curl) and put them in card savers. A week later decided to take a look....and all 50 or so were cracked. Good thing is I only paid $10 for the entire lot but I was so annoyed at myself after it.
I have probably about 50 slabbed from 1970 to 1981. I've had most for about 5 years. So far, only 1 has cracked .
Thanks for the reply. That stinks though knowing that there is a chance that it could happen at pretty much any time. Hmm
To make the distinction clear, there can be irreparably curled Kellogg's cards from the earlier issues, except 1973, but many of the latter 70s sets were issued by mail in flats and the cards are easier to store and have graded. I believe most of the issues also came in the cereal boxes, of course, and by that measure the cards contained in the protective paper sleeves come out flat. I have a bunch of curled baseball and football cards which just sit in a box undisturbed. The few baseball 71's I sleeved in top loaders wound up cracked so I discontinued the effort.
Thanks for all of the replies.
I have some of them in PSA 10....Banks, Santo, Williams, Sayers, Beckert, Hundley, Griese and a few in PSA 9 like Unitas and Butkus. I hope they never crack while in a highly graded PSA case.
