Restall Down on the Farm

I have been developing an appreciation for the silver medals produced by the J A Restall firm in Birmingham, England. These past few days, I snagged two that I really appreciate.
The first is a medal with a rather bland poultry design. I have seen several in bronze and the only reason I had one in the past was that it was part of a lot. A British ebayer recently posted one in silver and the metal makes all the difference. As per the hallmark, it was struck in 1934.
The second is a relatively elaborate (and lovely!) medal awarded for anti-sag gate hangings, in 1906. Unfortunately, the rim is slightly mutilated, probably by people testing for silver content. The faces, though, are in good shape.
