New to the forums, Help with a card

Hey everyone, Just got this PSA membership, while I was at the Philly Show. Great resource for information, Thanks everyone with this great board. Anyway my question is about this Emmitt Smith card I got. Can anyone help with what it is, what year, who made it? Thanks in advance for your help. Tom

Cards like these are called "Broders". Not a licensed card. They are knockoffs of legitimate card company cards. Be only a guess on who made it. Could be anyone. Not much value, except to an Emmitt collector I'd guess.

  • Thanks for the reply, wasn't concerned about value, as much as I never saw it before. Anyway Thanks again for the info. Tom

I have a Nolan Ryan one just like it, but also have no idea what company produced it.

As BLUEJAYWAY already said, it is a "Broders" unlicensed card. It was likely produced in the early 1990's. PSA will likely not grade it as it is an unlicensed card, but it may be worth a couple of dollars to an Emmitt Smith collector.

Edited to add a link explaining a "Broders" card.
