3/31/17....A day I won't soon forget and one that I am so happy has finally arrived!
I woke up this morning to an email notifying me that I am finally a Bust Half Nut Club member!
I first started collecting bust halves back in 2007, and a few years later decided I wanted to become a member one day. Unfortunately, in 2012, I dealt with some very difficult personal issues and had to put coin collecting on hold. But, thankfully I recovered a few years later and was able to start back on my journey.
I am truly honored to be a part of this amazing club and very grateful to everyone on the boards who have been supportive and encouraged me along the way.
The 1822 below was my very bust half I purchased (on the BST) back in 2007, and the coin that got me hooked on this truly incredible series!
Post a coin that has some sentimental value to you or one that just simply brings a smile to your face!

Welcome to the club, Dave. From your various postings, I assumed you were a long-time member. You sure do have some nice bust halves. Here is one that just came back from CAC with a sticker.

Well, you didn't say that I had to post an image of a real coin. This is a contemporary counterfeit (Davignon 3-C).

CJ: 'No one!' [Ain't no angels in the coin biz]
Congratulations on such a wonderful accomplishment.
Do they ever let you bust a full nut?
I have been collecting these for 30 years and twice had to sell them (90+ varieties each time) and start over...I just reached 80 and am hoping the 3rd time's the charm. BHNC has been a goal all along but I haven't made it yet. Congrats!
Great!
