$98 in gold value. No way to determine a diamond's value without more info.

Do you need an appraisal for insurance or are you trying to liquidate? There is a huge spread between the two. Condition of the stone and accuracy of the size is paramount.

Did your fiancée break off the engagement?

Diamonds, especially ones like on that ring are pretty much a dime a dozen... Jewelers can buy em themselves for prolly 20-40 for the big one and like 1-3 bucks a point for smalls...

Some key info here in case you didn't know, in order to save business face, jewelers will always "appraise" jewelry for fake prices, then tell you they don't buy or if they buy, then you get the rest of the story... how can they keep selling at huge markups if they don't...

No Perry , it was found in a box of "junk" jewelry wife bought at an estate auction . Most costume crap but a couple nice little finds inside once we started goin thru it .

Marquise is not a popular cut. I would expect $1 a point and more likely 50 cents. Anything under 5 points they don't pay anything in my area since the market is awash with them.
BTW dealers use gram weights to buy gold. Figure 1.555 g per dwt.

The most money I made are on coins I haven't sold.

    Got quoins?

Marquis diamonds are a girl's best friend. They're the least of friends in stores that are buying....from my experience

You can expect to get about 80 for the gold and about 30 -40 bucks on the diamond
