Quick turnaround and a pretty good POP with a few Gems

I sent in a bulk sub along with a 63 Mantle that wouldn't qualify under the $100 card limit. So it was sent in on the monthly special, with a 5 day turnaround. Well, to my surprise, they turned around my bulk order in 5 days too ! I got the grade i was hoping for on my Mantle, had a few more duds (The Lebron rookie is my son's and he asked if I would sub it, I'm sad for him a little) but overall I'm very pleased. Started out slow but picked up after card #5. 7 Gems in 50 cards might be the most I've gotten, and 2 of them are HOFer's. Still need to tighten up the reigns a little as I didn't expect any 5 or 6 other than the Mantle, but I enjoy trying to fine tune my process.

Nice job with those PSA 1978 10's.

Nicely done on the 78's especially the Palmer and Stargell

Did you pull that SP Jeter or did you buy it raw? I have 6-8 packs of SP and as much as I'd like to rip em, I dont know anything about that set except Jeter.

No, I bought the Jeter a few years ago at the National. I was making a big purchase that year, and had 60 bucks left over. I saw the card, and that it had a dinged corner and made the dealer an offer which he accepted. So, I knew it wouldn't grade high. I was "crossing my fingers" for a 7 but expecting it could be a 6.

Nice grades on the 78s! Were they pulled from packs?

Tim, The only one I pulled from a pack was The "Chicken on the Hill" Will. The rest are from a high end set.

Got the cards back. I think the Mick looks to be in the right holder to me and the 10's don't look out of place either. I'm pretty satisfied.

    what rules did he break?

Here you go Criss. I'll post the part for you where he explains how he submitted the cards. I know a lot of words can be confusing so I simplified it.

"I sent in a bulk sub along with a 63 Mantle that wouldn't qualify under the $100 card limit. So it was sent in on the monthly special, with a 5 day turnaround. Well, to my surprise, they turned around my bulk order in 5 days too ! "
