Another neat CherryPick.

My boss did a show in Fostoria, Ohio on Sunday and as is our routine I restock and unpack everything at the start of the day on Monday. While I was doing that this morning he mentioned that he'd bought a large group of War Nickels that I should look at. He knows I'm a "Nicklehead" and appreciate nice Jeffersons.
I finished what I was doing and started to look through the box. There were only four dates, 1942-P, 1943-P, 1943-D and 1945-D. All the coins were nice Unc's that probably came from original rolls, many Full Step coins but only a couple with any tone. The last group I looked at was the 1943-P's and about halfway through I found the Cherry --- a nice 3/2 that should grade MS64FS.
This makes the second one I have found in the past six months or so. The last was an AU/low MS non-FS from an album, this was actually in a stapled 2x2 flip, dated and with a grade assigned. I don't know how dealers and collectors miss this stuff, I can only think the are unaware of the Variety so never search for it.

Nice find. But is it "Nicklehead" or "Nucklehead"?

I used to attend that show every year when I was a member of the Fostoria Coin Club, before moving south. That used to be a nice little show.

Nice Cherry "Nickelhead"! LOL

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.I didn't attend but my boss said it was very well attended and active for the whole day.
If those did come from original rolls, I'm surprised you only found the one example. Imagine how many others the person your boss acquired those from unknowingly sold.

Sounds interesting!
