Dumb sports story of the season.

....may as well share it. Heard it last night on a national sport talk show, read it today in local newspaper.

Before NCAA basketball tourney started, a Vegas casino owner bet $12,500 on Michigan to win the finals. Odds were 80-1 for a potential payout of $1M.

Reason this story is dumb is because Michigan still has to win 4 games and is currently 18-1 to do so.

The magical wager has a present value in the $52,000 range. No where near the million dollar level that is making the news.
