[Slightly OT] SPINK 49th Edition of the SCBC (2014)

I'm debating buying the latest SCBC edition and wanted to see if I should get a hard cover or a digital version. For the 49th edition, I have hard cover as well as digital versions (for iPhone and iPad viewing).
So, wanting to see if I like the digital version on my 27" iMac, I launched the iBooks app for the first time today on my iMac and opened up the book and immediately noticed something weird. After a moment, I realized that the digital book displayed the odd-numbered page on the left while every printed book I've ever seen/read/held has odd-numbered pages on the right.
Weird...
But, for those who need the references and like the freedom of digital copies, I find the digital SCBC to suit me very well: doesn't take up physical space; I have it wherever I have my iBooks app; searchable/bookmark-able; ease of reading depends only on viewing screen size. When I bought the 49th edition, the digital version was cheaper than the hard cover version.
So, now, I will buy the digital copy of the 2017 SCBC, despite the odd-numbered pages being on the wrong side of the viewed page on my iMac. I will forego the print version.

Well, this is a bit disappointing: there hasn't been an update to the digital version of the SCBC. What I already have is what is available. I wrote a review asking about digital versions for the current SCBC. Hopefully Mr. Skingley will read my review.
