Last year at least one 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 advanced; this year not ONE 13 or lower did!

You guys know how last year we "hit for the cycle" in the NCAA's by having at least one 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 seed make it to the next round? Well this year it's just the opposite...not ONE 13 or lower seed made it out of the first round. Or to put it another way, all sixteen 1-4 seeds advanced out of the first round.

Now that is really unusual...has either of these happened before since 1985 (first year of modern 64 team field; play-in gimmicks don't count)?

    Yes, Kentucky was played close by somebody. Kansas won big....I think. I watched too many games! :o

    I thought estil was a Kentucky fan....oh well. B)

    KU = Kansas University
    UK = University of Kentucky

    So when you said KU, I thought you were talking about Kansas...or Kentucky Utilities. :blush:
