Admin help? Regarding like, spam, agree, disagree etc

Who is in charge to discuss the ratings system here. The anonymous votes seem... odd to me. On another site I use, votes are attached with a name. To randomly kit someone with the negative disagree or spam, anonymously seems backhanded to me.
I just got a SPAM vote, for replying to a BST thread with a successful transaction. I fail to see how that is spam. Furthermore I find it abusive to wantonly distribute disagree and spam.
It's not that the rating system is so vital and important to be but I honestly feel dejected and crappy for getting a spam vote. I feel like I try to make positive AND or friendly posts, or meaningful contributions to the site and threads on it.

You can easily find out who left the feedback to your post. Click on the "Flag" icon and it will show what category of hit you took and then click on that category "Spam", for instance, and it will show you who clicked it. Alternatively, if you go to your own "home page" for lack of a better term and click on the category of feedback you received, you will find all the threads where you received such feedback.
I noticed the thread where you received this feedback and I strongly believe the feedback is really just toward the author of the thread as this person routinely and repeatedly abuses the PCGS boards by listing multiple BST threads at one time, bumping them more than once per day and listing BST threads in the regular coin section. This seller adds nothing to the PCGS boards and obviously believes that the norms associated with everyone else do not apply to him or his business. I would not support such an abuser of the site and the ding you took was likely out of frustration from someone else who has noticed the same things I have noticed.

Thank you for explaining @TomB
I appreciate the insight. Thumbs up to you
When I follow your directions it simply tells me I cannot rate my online post.
Since I have posted this, I have received 2 additional Spam ratings! This is abusive and absurd. I tried to click to see who left it but I am unable.
It's ridiculous that trolling members like this is permitted.
Kind of offensive.
To Who ever is responsible for giving me "spam"
At least have the dignity to explain yourself so I understand how to not spam.

Try this-
1) Click your name in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
2) Click the "Spam" header with associated number that is found under "Reactions" within the new screen.
3) You will see a series of links that have been flagged.
4) Go to the "Flag" option on each link and click it.
5) Hover over the "Spam" option and it should show a name.
Of course, if the system thinks you are trying to rate or report your own post then it might not work, but I know this will work for "Agree", "Like", "LOL" and "Disagree". Good luck.

Using the above method should reveal everything you want to know.
Lance.
And, FWIW, I have found that members sometimes click on the wrong icon and didn't mean to tag something the way it was recorded. It is possible for that member to re-click and remove it. You might contact the person and ask privately what happened.
I have tried to click like a few times and it hit the flag, but I always close window or back up. I have NEVER knowingly spammed someone. (Unless it was a Nigerian price with a check or something glaringly and universally recognized)

Oops - I just voted you a SPAM by mistake.
I thought I was following Tom's instructions. It showed you have 3 Spams.
When I clicked on the Spam link, it counted that as a Spam vote.
You need to click on the link to the left of the Spam to see who did the actual vote.
I'll contact the admin to withdraw my spam vote since it was a mistake. Sorry about that.
@TopographicOceans What happens if you hit the "spam" button again? If you hit "like" or "agree" twice, the second hit cancels the first.
, @TopographicOceans, maybe I should try it with a hit on the spam button for you??? smile:
I wonder if this will turn into a new ricko "Disagree" thread and Aspie_Rocco will end up with 2,000 spam comments!

Oh boy. I'm up to 4 now. I hate to even ask what that was about. This has ruined my day already.
EDIT.
Thanks for explaining guys (accidental votes). I appreciate it really. I wouldn't mind the spam and disagree so much, but I hope to be taken seriously, except when joking.
With best intentions and best wishes

No Way Out: Stimulus and Money Printing Are the Only Path Left
Lances post at 3:13 shows 3 Spam votes. The first thread shows the vote was by AUandAG.
When I clicked on it trying to see the name, instead it counted it as a Spam vote.
Sorry about that. I sent a message to the Admin asking to remove the misclick.
__I was following the instructions from TomB in this thread trying to see who voted the posting as Spam:
https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/977889/admin-help-regarding-like-spam-agree-disagree-etc#latest
I accidentally clicked on the Spam link instead of the link to the left to see who left the Spam report. I wasn't trying to report the post as Spam.
Please remove my spam vote for Aspie_rocco. He didn't do anything wrong__
Just click it again TO.
Hang in there A_R.
I agree with @TomB on why the initial flag was possibly hit.
I saw his three of that sellers posts in a row this morning. It made me see red and I don't even have anything for sale.
It takes a little finesse to participate on the BST and that guy lacks it.

What I have learned in my short term here is...........if you act responsibly, sanely, and courteously here, there is no need to worry about what other people 'click;
Successful transactions with : MICHAELDIXON, Manorcourtman, Bochiman, bolivarshagnasty, AUandAG, onlyroosies, chumley, Weiss, jdimmick, BAJJERFAN, gene1978, TJM965, Smittys, GRANDAM, JTHawaii, mainejoe, softparade, derryb, Ricko
Bad transactions with : nobody to date
I'm certain that the Spam flagging was actually intended for the member who authored the post(s) that you had a transaction from. That member is a repeat offender of the etiquette for sharing the limited free space in the Buy / Sell / Trade forum. Even after having been publicly reminded of the etiquette previously, the seller appears to have completely ignored such.

I got a nice message from the VP here about this. It is reassuring to know they are responsive. Thanks for the encouragement everyone.

Thanks. I clicked on it again and it went away. Whew.
I apologize to Aspie_Rocco. I voted your posts here with Likes to help make up for it
Thank you @MarkStephenson Issue resolved. And quickly.
Kudos and my humble gratitude.
