Is anyone else following the 1874 drachma currently on Heritage ? It's now at $2600. NGC shows $3000 retail, against HA's estimate of $400-500 ??

Estimated at 15% of retail ? Maybe a typo.

A conditional rarity for a registry set? 2 crazy bidders?
1874-A is the toughest of the 6 drachmas minted during George the first's reign from 1868 to 1912. An MS64 was recently sold in a local auction, but I have to look to see how high it went.
In terms of difficulty and price in choice unc and above they go (all struck in Paris)
From the toughest and pricier to the easiest :
1874
1883
1911
1873
1868
1910
The 1873 and 1874 have combined mintages and since French mints were documenting the number of such coins they minted per year, regardless of the date on it, we can safely assume ,from the appearances of both coins and their huge difference in price, that they were still minting 1873 ones well into 1874.
Ha's estimate is ridiculously low, I don't think they ever offered another.

The previous lot is the ultra popular one sovereign 1989 PCGS PR69DCAM with an estimate of $350-$400 and a current bid at $800 with much higher snipes to follow. You'd expect a realistic estimate on that one at least.
