Recent Carl Yastrzemski Poppage w/ Scans

My sub (106 cards) as a whole was graded pretty tight, any borderline cards got the lower grade, which was disappointing. These tough to find Yaz cards look to be accurately graded, although the '66 O-Pee-Chee is going back in.

Man that OPC 66 Yaz is a stunner. Looks under graded to me. Some pretty cool looking cards of Yaz. Congrats.

Can you tell why the '66 is a 7? Sure looks better from the scan.

Agree on the '66. No way that card is a 7 unless there is something on the back.

The 66 OPC is a stunner ! Resubmit for sure. Those 69 supers are tough too.

that is kind of funny that the 66 got a lower grade than the 70 all star, by every aspect that can be seen in the scan , the 66 looks 1000% stronger than the 70 which got the extra 1/2 grade. is there something on the surface or back?

I'm guessing the surface is the reason for the 7 on the '66. Upper left border in the white there is a small surface "dot." I'm still going to try again for another opinion, it's such a beauty.

Congrats on some really nice cards.

I agree and I would resubmit the 1966 O-Pee-Chee, unless you find something obviously wrong with the surface on the front or back of the card.
