Nice! I've always wondered how easy/hard it is to see wear on these pieces with the incuse designs.

Very nice looking piece!
Nice gold piece! Excellent grade! I have been destined to gather my gold pieces using the "catch and release" method. Buy one and sell it, rinse and repeat. Not normally having more than one in my possession at any time. But I keep the images and file them under "used to me mine".

Nice photos!
AU58 and a $2.50 Indian Gold coin - my two favorites.
A 58 means he has done some duty as intended, but also has a lot of meat left on the bones.
The $2.50 Indian Gold coin was always my favorite coin since I liked the design and that it was inclusive.
I always wanted one as a kid, but couldn't afford one.
It was 40 years later when I finally bought one after being away from collecting for decades while I was busy at life.
Nice pickup
Very pretty, Jeremy!
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
Very nice looking coin. I like the orange hue in the devices.
Until you get to lower grades, the wear is mainly limited to the fields, not the design. These coins are tough to grade.
The stories that coin could tell.
I've heard a couple people echo the same sentiment.
Pretty coin.
