HA has a larger overall audience, but lyn knight is easy to work with and has a strong customer base for nationals (if you have them in the group). I'd split them up and use both.
Peter at Stacks Bowers gave me great service and a great rate!!

I need to give Stack's a try!
You could aim for the ANA or other major show to have the auction.
I prefer either Lyn Knight or Stacks Bowers. But, you need to look critically at the notes in your consignment tp determine the best venue. "Stuff" often gets buried in HA's very large auctions.
Stacks Bowers boloed Chet Krause's Wisconsin obsoletes and depression scrip.
I'm afraid I'm a bit out of it. What does "boloed" mean?
A consignment of that size is not likely to generate much excitement unless there are some especially interesting notes included. Beware of being buried in an auction with many similar pieces. If you notes are "nice" but "ordinary" you may do better selling them outright at a major show.
It is an army term meaning they blew it.
