Revisiting/re-imaging and old friend, or, 'what's with all those chop marks???'

Played around with this old coin a bit recently. I used to keep it in the trade dollar slot in my Dansco until I finally found an 'affordable' trade dollar.

There is a teensy side of me that wants to send it in for grading just to imagine the laughs. Then there is the part of me that thinks doing so is dumb. Not to mention, with this many chops I wonder just how many of them are 'real' or if someone just messed with this coin for amusement purposes.

Still like it though, it's the first silver yen I ever bough and it came from a small shop in Silver Spring, MD (not Bonanza).

Great shots! Even lighting across the entire coin, everything is in focus and you can even see the touches of color!

Ohhhh, I really like the chopmarks on that! As an Asian coin collector, I have always had a soft spot for these pieces.
