Hey folks just a quick question. I believe this to be a 1 Franc piece from Switzerland.

Any information such as grade or value or historical would be great and much appreciated!

It is a swiss frank and one place this could lead you to look into is the coins of the latin monetary union . Switzerland is I think the country that stuck to the idea the longest keeping the franc at that weight and pureness far longer than any of the other countries .
