And then there are the bag toners that that are sisters... This one is the sister coin to the green one I posted above with the ex David Hall Morgan and came out of the same bag as the green one... It was in a small hoard and it has such incredible eye appeal sits as one of my all time favorite textile bag toners... AB

I personally like the target toning type. While i like the appearance of those that are fully toned and can appreciate some vivid colors, something to my eyes is really cool about seeing colors around the edges and workings its way into a whiter field in the middle.
On Morgans, this is the kind of toning I like. I prefer toning that matches equally on both sides of the coin. One-sided bag toning and that iridescent toning turns me off.

And then there are the crescent bag toners... One of my favorite newps in 2016 I call "Ninja Star"... I have seen an image of it once in an OGH AB
ArtR great coin. One of my favorites of your many many cool ones.
Many say they can make them, but as Art says the proof is in the pudding show' m if ya got em

@CascadeChris - Really cool array of tape reverse toners
Thanks but only the bottom is a tape toner, and double sided to boot!
The 5 up top are from those old pre-slide albums that had a cardboard strip in the back to prevent the coins from falling through. That's why the vast majority you see with this thin strip is a reverse toner
Very nice ronctx with a cool name!
That is a very cool and consistant put together set of strap toning CascadeChris! The best set of those I have seen...
Here is one mine I call "Razzle Dazzle".... AB

Nice one AB! And I'm pretty sure I know where she got her name from
A lot of great looking coins on here for sure. Some, when you first see the toning, reminds you of something right away for a name, others it's harder to think of something.
For instance, when I saw these, the first thing that came to mind was:
I actually like coins that have a little bit of rim toning, but I do not have to pay a premium for it. The little bit of rim toning tells me it wasn't dipped in recent memory.
My favorite color is emerald green. Usually, however, when seen it comes in streaks or crescents, or mixed with several other colors. It rarely comes with most of the coin fully toned in emerald green, unlike say, blue. Here is a rare exception.
My favorite type?? NONE!! But everyone already knew that... .... @AuroraBorealis... Wayne that is an amazing layout of your collection... you have tremendous consistency in your collection. Even though it is not my preference, I must admire the collection you have assembled.
Cheers, RickO

The only crescent I have left. My daughter talked me out of my others.

Serious about liking all the great coins that have been posted.
Each toned coin has it own personality.
I took images of AB's coins since they're so outstanding but forgot to get permission to do so.
I hope you say it's ok.
Best Al
I also like nice stripe toners. Both tape and old album cardboard strip. They fall under my "unusual non-EOR pattern" category

Then you have a coin that piece of thread or string interferes with the toning process.
That is so cool ArtR!!! Love it!
Nice. I'd call her "Electric Earworm"
