Have to move unopened collection - transporting Q?

Hi, so most of unopened collection is in NY and needs to be moved to Texas. I've moved already so aren't planning on driving it down myself personally. There are maybe 50 boxes in total ranging from some cheapies to some $ (nothing totally crazy, no 71 wax boxes sitting there).
I probably have 15 or so of the more $ boxes (72T bkball, 75-78 T FB cello boxes, 87F bkball, 3 80/81 T bkball wax, a couple of 75 T minis, a couple 86T FB waxes, a couple 88 Fl bkball, 3 93 SP boxes, 77/78/79 T baseballs).
any thoughts on how I move these? The rest I was thinking I can just pack and have it moved with movers, but don't know how I feel about having these just in with the rest of the moving crap.

I will go get them for you on the halves!!
I would have probably taken this stuff personally considering the cargo, but if that is not an option I think truck shipping with the movers might be best. Just label the box glass (joking). Do you have your collectibles insured in either case? Would hate for some rouge employee to hit the motherload on your stuff and it be in the fine print that there is no liability with the moving company.
Do you have a friend that would be up to drive them down for you? It might be cheaper. Have you thought about shipping the most valuable boxes and then the movers can take the cheaper boxes. If you are already in Texas and not planning on going back up, are they already boxed up, or would the movers have to box them up? I would absolutely not trust the movers to pack the high dollar ones up to get there safely.
For the value of those boxes, I would do a one-way Hertz Rental. Some of those items are irreplaceable. You can buy insurance but I think the insurance company would give you are hard time if you had to file a claim. Even they did honor the claim, the paperwork you would need to assemble would make the drive to Texas seem shorter.
If you end up shipping them I would use FedEx. A local FedEx Office can help you with everything - boxes, packing, etc.
You might want to contact Steve Hart @ BBCE to ask if he knows of a resource who could assist you. I think Reed lives in Buffalo. Just a thought.
Use something like this and pack it yourself

The best way is to carefully open each pack and put the higher value cards in cards saver 1s. Then send these cards for grading. Please post pics and updates.
thanks guys for the tips. some ideas to think through. I like that heavy duty box definitely. thinking through the one way drive. it would definitely be the easiest, less stressful in some respects
one way drive to Texas with a stop over at BBCE to help fill whatever "gaps" you have in the car/truck. haha
I like that trunk shipping crate, but something about it says "Steal Me".
Sell them on eBay, ship from NY....rebuy them later and ship to Texas.
All those boxes are on eBay now so that loss of eBay fees might be cheaper than shipping.
Give me a call (808) 372-1974 if you need some ideas. I do live in Buffalo, but I'm almost never there! Always on the road or at the office.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Thanks Reed,

Defintely the BBCE guys would know a thing or two about the best way to move significant boxes from point A to B. Overall I would just pack very carefully, by myself -- and I would agree about the overly-secure looking shipping box attracting unwanted attention.
Enough soft packing material around wax boxes first enclosed in saran wrap, that placed inside a sturdy, but nondescript cardboard box and made immobile, that box into a then larger, sturdy, nondescript box and made immobile with more packing material (free newspapers) -- and you'll have a package made bulletproof. Better to overpack than under.
