shipping one coin cheaply

To ship one coin (low value - $5), can I put it into a 8x6 photo mailer and ship it for 91 cents? Is there a better way? Thanks.

How heavy is it? First class with one stamp if under an ounce.

As far as I can tell, one coin in an envelope would make it non-machinable, and there would be an extra surcharge.

True. And know, from experience, that stamping it "non-machinable" and paying the extra charge does NOT guarantee the USPS machinery won't find it. If you do this please place it between two strong pieces of cardboard.

I'm addicted to exonumia ... it is numismatic crack!
