1967 error cent

I'm guessing it is a struck through, do you think it was another coin?

    Very cool, I'd say struck through a partially dislodged die cap or die cap fragment.

    I agree with above; what's weird is that it looks like this coin circulated a while before it was noticed and pulled.

    Yes it is slightly circulated, I rinsed it off with some water and the black spots were just dirt that came off. I used a little verdi care just in case the dirt started to spawn something.

    Looks like it created a little mechanical doubling on the N and T in cent and along the lower right side by the initials.

    I'd say it was likely struck through a shifted die cap.

    Almost seems to be struck through a 95% off-center coin.
