I would view them as postage.
When purchasing on ebay I bid 70% of face at most, use most for postage and occasionally save pre-1933 commemoratives and pre-1945 Air Mail stamps in a "bought for below face" collection.

I think 70% of face would be a very high offer these days. The low denomination stamps are not wanted because it takes too many of them to mail a first class letter.
I think, your album for stamps worth more than stamps inside..
I agree with Michael1....The stationery is useful...it can be used to house photos. The stamps are simply for postage.....Place 3 stamps in the front on the letter and 7 of them on the reverse.... make sure you place on the front top left corner " MORE STAMPS ON BACK " just use them up that way...I personally only pay 50% if i really want them but as i have so many for shipping goods, it maybe years before i buy anymore.
