Any Tips On Glossy Type Cards Stuck From Wax Packs

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but I was hoping for suggestions on how to cope with glossy cards that are stuck like a brick in wax packs from boxes.
I have bought some 90's wax with the hope of finding cards for my registry sets to submit in raw form. The cards so far have been stuck together as I open the packs.
I have put a few in the freezer for a few days to see if this would help loosen them. It has on some sets to a lesser extent than others, but the cards still show signs of damage.
Anyone with some good tips on how to get them unstuck without damage?

Unfortunately I believe there is no solution other than to carefully ply them apart and separate the living from the dead. Ran into about 1500 1993 UD cards the other day with this issue. At least half got thrown into the fire pit.

If there's no foil, just do a quick pop up and down like a deck of cards. They usually separate fairly easily after that. I there's foil, you're likely SOL if the freezer doesn't work.
Fire pit is becoming more and more acceptable to me though.
Just researched this a few days ago. There are a few YouTube posts on the topic. Freezer seems ineffective. A little steam worked in some cases. The best results I saw was a guy who "slammed" them apart -- broad sided, of course -- then microwaved the smaller bricks (a few cards) for about 7 seconds. Then pried them apart with a butter knife. Hopefully, you have a lot of time on your hands. I gave up.
Always plenty of PSA-graded cards in my ebay store -- https://ebay.com/str/thelumbercompanysportscards
I have run into this on a lot of the late 1990's football. Guy come in to the store and had a 400 - 500 count "brick" of Ken Griffey Jr. Leaf cards. Told him it was an interesting collectible, but he basically had 500 damaged items, worth nearly nothing. Funny, guy also had a 400 count box of 1993 Topps Javy Lopez RC's. Said he almost bought 400 Jeters instead but thought Lopez was the better investment....OOPS!
