Super stoked about having my BGS 9.5 Westbrook Topps Chrome Refractor crossover to a PSA 10!!!!!

Congrats! What were the subs out of curiosity? All 9.5s or better seem to be the common recommendation for an easy cross.

This is mine in the BGS holder before I sent it in to be crossed.

Nice! I think it's much harder to crossover successfully with a 9 on any of the subs, but good to see it's possible.

Yeah it's definitely rare to get anything with a 9 sub to cross. For what it's worth the other 3 cards that I tried to cross had the following subs and none of them crossed.

Card 1- 9.5, 9.5, 10, 9.5
Card 2- 9.5, 9.5, 9, 9.5
Card 3- 9.5, 9.5, 9.5, 9.5

Just PSA's way of telling you that BGS grading is not reliable whether it is or not. The card with the lesser grades crosses and all 3 with the higher grades doesn't. In other words BGS under-graded one and over graded on 3. BGS missed on all 4 cards, LOL. You were smart to send the Westbrook in this way with the others. If you had just sent the Westbrook it probably would not have crossed. Congrats.

That's good to know ..I have some cards I want to have graded so hopefully ,because there already great quality would be better to have a great grade as well

I don't know about other sports, but it can be substantial with hoops cards. Hard to say exactly with the OP's Westbrook due to a lack of historic sales data (pop 2 now), but he definitely crossed the right refractor because his base is the toughest to find its way into a gem holder.
