My First Review Sub Just Popped **Updated with picts.** (Grader of Death is Real)
Pretty happy that someone else had the grader of death on a couple of my cards. My 1975 Johnny Bench PSA 8 mini when I purchased it about a year ago it looked better than a PSA 9 that I already owned. I was certain it would bump at least a .5 and was ecstatic to see they gave it a PSA 9 (Well-Deserved) I feel bad for whoever originally submitted that card because they got the grader of death for sure.
Also had a 71 Alcindor bump from a PSA 8 to PSA 9. Another card that when I looked at other PSA 9's thought mine looked as good or better than the others out there so I was not surprised it bumped but once again getting a full grade bump is not something I planned on. Anyway below are the results. Can't wait to get these in hand.

Nice hits

Very nice! 75 mini Bench is a tough one, especially full-sized. Would love to see a pic of that one when you get them back from PSA.

Tim here it is in the PSA 8 holder. I will post the PSA 9 version when it arrives.
Congrats on the hits. 4 out of 9 bumps with two full grades is a remarkable review result. Nice eye on those cards. Be sure to show them off when you get them in hand.
Congrats on the bumps.

Great eyes on the Bench mini card, JBrules. That card looks fantastic. And while the old adage "familiarity breeds contempt" oftentimes holds true in the real world, when it comes to collecting cards--as evidenced by your bumps--it appears that "familiarity breeds the ability to confidently identify undergraded cards"! Congrats.
Congrats jbrules. Those are some impressive cards to bump. Did you crack them out and send them in, or did you submit for regrading?
53BKid, Funny you ask. I have always done the crack and submit and have had good results for the majority but since I had never done a review I thought I would give it a try.
Updated with before and after picts.
All deserving of the new grades, congrats!
That Bench is amazing!

Those all look great. I'd think about trying to bump the 8.5's in the future if you're so inclined. They look like 9's too.
well done here, I need to have your eyes and luck, nice send resubmitting those!
I think you missed his point Crisscriss.
OK then. I've got to wonder if you even read his post. I'm out. Good luck to you.
Let me spell it out, whoever graded them originally was harsh.
Crisscriss needs to lighten up a bit.
Exceptional eye on those! Congrats!
