My Starting Lineup experience with the creator of them Pat McInally

After the episode about Starting Lineup on NFL Films Presents that included myself and some of my collection, I was lucky enough to get in touch with Pat McInally. We have been talking for about a year now. He asked if I would ever be interested in some of his collection, I said sure. He told me what he had and it all snowballed from that. Finally after about 6 months, I am now the proud owner of a 1988 sealed in all team cases baseball set, a 1989 store display, a 1997 sealed convention case of all his figures and yes, he even send me some of his NFL cards signed. A true class act and a pleasure to talk with. He calls and texts me all the time now . Here are some pics.
Always looking for vintage wax boxes!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Thanks! Yeah, I really couldn't accomplish anything higher in the hobby![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
That's what it's all about. Congrats!
Wow! Great story not to mention that '88 set still sealed in team cases has to be unique to the hobby.
I know Kenner supposedly packed 200 88 baseball sets like this. You could order them from a catalog. I personally have never saw one, until now.
I just read about this player on wikipedia. What an interesting story.
Awesome and cool story! As a fan of SLU, I've always enjoyed your posts about them and your collection.
Thank you, I appreciate that!
Insanely jealous. This is so awesome! CONGRATS!
Cool story, thanks for sharing.
Thanks guys!
