a canceled die with an unknown vam and/or state. seems to me some MAJOR gouges k12.

i think those "gouges" were from the canceling. i doubt a legitimate vam will be found with big raised "gouges."
a person could have still made some nice cash using that/those canceled dies. the 82 die in the op wasnt canceled very well. make some coins, grind em down a bit, then artificially circulate. perhaps sell as novelties.
