Best or Worst trade that you ever made

There does not seems to be too much trading anymore. Back in the late 80's early 90's I seemed to trade all of the time. Usually it was for one of the overproduced cards of the late 80s for another. Does anyone remember one particular trade that you made that at the time was very fair but after the years went by it turned out to be lopsided (either your way or the other persons)? I remember there was one small shop that I went to in 1991 or 1992 that has a Jerry Rice rookie. The dealer told me he would trade for it if I wanted to. I gave him 2 binders full of 1990/ 91 football rookies from Proset and Score for that Rice. I still have the Rice. Those binders today I would be worth about $5 max only because of the value of the plastic pages and binders themselves. The cards alone would be worth 75 cents maybe on a good day.

I made a trade here with another member several years ago and I wouldn't call it the worst, but perhaps regrettable only because of the values involved. The member I traded with is a good guy, so no harm no foul. He was on the receiving end of a pristine 1977-78 & 1978-79 Topps Basketball Wax Box + some graded stuff from me & I received a hoard of '69 Topps Baseball cards including some very nice graded examples for a set I was building at the time. I still actually have a bunch of the cards, but hindsight kicks your junk and runs away laughing. I'll never be able to replace the '77T Box at anywhere close to original cost, but maybe someday one will fall out of the sky and land in my swimming pool.
Oh yeah, I remember. Unfortunately I wasn't on the winning side of this trade. I traded on unopened box of 1987/1988 Fleer basketball for 2 boxes of 1989 Pro Set football cards back in 1989. I will give myself a break. I was only 13 years old, but my dad got my the hoops box the year before and it wasn't opened, but I just HAD to have those 89 pro set football cards the next year. I'm sure I wouldn't still have the box unopened now, but the basketball cards unopened go for 7.5K and the football cards for about 40 bucks, so you can guess who "won" that deal...

1986 Fleer basketball NM or better complete set for a complete set of 1984 Donruss baseball and a $150 bucks. This was back in 1990, obviously the Donruss arrow has trended down!
Traded half a wax box of 1973-74 Topps BK for 22 1971-72 Topps BK commons(low pops LOL this was in 2003 or whenever the set reg first came out) nothing was graded from this set so the whole set was a low pop! Ugh. About 150.00 worth of cards today if I still had them. But I did sell them about 1-2 years after. But only got like 300.00 for them after none were low pops by then. At the time when I traded they were going for like 50-150.00 a card/common.
I will always regret that deal.
When I was about 7 or 8, I traded all of my football cards (probably 500+) including many 1986 Topps and at least one Jerry Rice RC to an older neighbor kid, maybe 13 or 14. What I received in return was a 1987 Topps Rafael Palmerio Future Stars card...
Been a Cubs fan my entire life and I needed that card for my set and the older neighbor kid knew it and certainly took advantage of me, haha. Still have that card somewhere!

Best trade?
Back in 1992, I traded half my table at a show (total cost of table - 60 bucks) for a raw 75T mini Ryan which came back a 9 from PSA.
When I was about 16 I traded a Paul Molitor rookie card worth $22 at the time for a stack of basketball cards- 86, 87, 88 Fleer Jordan cards and stickers and about 50 other 86 Fleer cards. He also threw in some football stars from the 80s. I didn't look up the values for a long time but really thought that I got the short end of the stick.
Back in 1990 I traded a 90 donruss Harold Baines error (all the rage at the time) for a Rickey Henderson rookie
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
@ I traded several of his SP (raw) for a topps Gretzky that got a PSA 7.
Still have the great one. I am sure he made $ on the deal that day. If not they are worthless now.

my '04 sequoia for an '08.
'04 purchased new and clocked 150k miles on her and she was still going strong.
new '08 needed a new tranny after 50k miles, got worse gas mileage, leaky/loud sunroof, terrible ac and overall quality-wise, most would classify as an overall pos...on a good day.
just had to have that sunroof though.
