Any 2000 Playoff Contenders Collectors out there? So whats the story with these cards??

Id say about 10 years ago I started to build and never finished a raw set. I was buying nm to nm-mt examples off ebay including Tom Brady's card. With all the brady hype I busted these cards back out and have noted alot of variations in sizes of all the RC's. I have about 30 of them. My brady and quite a few of them measure a bit small but they dont necessarily looked trimmed. Just wondering if anyone knows the 411 on this set and if indeed small rookie tickets are expected out of the pack?? Anyone opened a box back in the day and got small cards?? Probably going to send the brady in to at least be authenticated with auto grade (it means 2.45 x 3.45) .... Slightly small both way. Many of the cards measure that though and the cuts looks perfect. I know I got a plaxico I got from playoff themselves - 2.40 x 3.5!! What the heck???

I bought and open a lot of this in 2000. I was lucky enough to get a Brady that graded a long time ago ( before .5 system) PSA 8. So I'll be sending in again soon to try for a bump. I recall noticing some size variations with this brand and have seen some cards not graded due to min size.

When you send cards back for the .5 bump, do you normally send it as is in the original slab? I'm in the same boat. I sent a regular Brady Contender and the Championship Ticket variant to be graded before they had the half point grading system. I knew the regular Contender was an 8, but really thought the Championship Ticket was a 9. Was really surprised when both came back as 8's.
