Card Saver for PSA Submission - w/ Penny Sleeve or Not?
What do you prefer?
Currently I do not use penny sleeves, but I have wondered if it has ever affected a grade. I am about to setup a 200 card order so I will go with what the majority recommends. I think it is trickier to slide the penny sleeve into the card saver more so than without the sleeve. I realize people say to cut the corner(s), but top or bottom--one or both?

I always use them with no problems and I think they offer an additional layer of protection, though it is admittedly very minimal. It takes a while to develop the knack for sliding the card into the sleeve, but once you develop it, you should have no problems. Some people cut the top corner of the sleeve to make it a bit easier, but I have never done that.

This is the way to go.
1. Use penny sleeves on Chrome type and foil type cards. Clip the top right or left corner on the top of your penny sleeve.
2. No sleeve for paper cards unless you haven't loaded lots of CS1's (use them in clipped form if you haven't).
3. Use CS4 on any tall boy or thick stock, or thick patch cards (never use sleeves in this case boarders chip easy on thick cards).

exactly what he said for #1. Regardless of type of card I clip the top left corner off of each penny sleeve...prevents damage inserting the card inside.
is nice to know

Yep this, use CS1 straight up for paper cards. Clipped sleeve for foil cards.
You can buy the sleeves already clipped, which helps if you're subbing a lot of cards.
