A week or so ago I could post photos without a problem. In my last posting the photos showed up initially and then disappeared shortly after they posted. I'm posting from photobucket where I copy the direct url and paste it into the image url box. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

The photo lasted long enough to elicit a response from a member. When I looked the next morning, the photo was not showing.
here is the photo: (two actually)

Seems to work here, but not in the original thread. ???

Currently, I can see the top coin of the two in the original thread, but the bottom coin shows up as a question mark.
I have had the interesting experience on the new site of some images disappearing for a length of time and then appearing again. I assumed it was due to some software issue that prevented certain images from certain sites from being shown and that the issue is temporary and resolves itself. One reason for the assumption is that the images always come back and another reason for the assumption is that no other website has behaved like this when I have been on it. This likely does not help you at all, but I thought it may.

With the new forum software allowing quick and easy uploads of full-sized images, there aren't many reasons to link to Photobucket anymore.

The 2nd link in the original thread is not formatted properly. Look carefully at the code.

Thank you all - that helped.

No problem viewing here. I've bought a couple of those just because of the toning. And they're cheap, too.
