1923/24 Russia rye grain loan notes

I recently discovered these items. They were described as loan notes issued in Russia in 1923 an 1924 for 1 pound, 3 pounds and 5 pounds of rye grain. How would these be classified? As a "good for" type of token? Or, since they were issued by a bank, would they fall under "emergency currency"? Is there a resource out there for this type of thing? I would like to find out more about them.

A "Pud" ie Pood was not really a pound but a unit of measurement that was used up into the early 1920s in Russia. 1 pood was about 16 kilogrammes. The unit was replaced with metric beginning in 1924.
