OT: Forum Update on Mike Kelley's Family

Wanted to share with you that I was on the east coast last week and had the opportunity to visit Mike & Michelle Kelley's family. Considering the difficult situation, I'd have to say that they are doing remarkably! The children are in an incredibly loving home under the care of Mike's mother and step-father. They are doing well in school, are happily involved in extra-curricular activities and have a strong support system (including professionals) that is obviously required given the challenges they have had to endure.

They all wanted to say thank you to the generous members of our forum community that has come to their aid. With our contributions from last fall they were able to replace a failing automobile with a low mileage, late model (2015) one that is making a world of difference for them. They are also moving ahead with the house remodeling that the original fundraiser was targeted to assist so that Mike's daughters will soon no longer have to share a bedroom. You have all made a HUGE difference in this family's life.

I stay in touch with them regularly, and will continue to post periodic updates.
